Possibly the most well-known of the African timbers across worldwide markets. Medium to dark reddish-brown colour with distinct stripped or ribbon grain produced when quarter sawn. Typical applications also exhibit the crown cut appearance. Traditionally used for those rich Mahogany type fit outs in law firms, hotels etc.
